Responsibility and Sustainability Report
Loiste Corporation’s responsibility report for 2022 sets out our steps towards our vision of being a responsible pioneer in the energy industry. Climate action requires carbon-free forms of energy as Finland relies increasingly on electricity. Loiste Corporation does its part to help realise this goal.
As an energy infrastructure company, safety is an important part of Loiste’s corporate culture, and responsibility begins with every one of our employees and partners. As a contracting organisation, social responsibility applies to our own staff as well as to partners in cooperation and to contractors’ and subcontractors’ staff whenever they work on Loiste Corporation contracts.
We work closely with people, and often on land owned by others, so it is important to be aware of the safety and responsibility of our operations, as well as of their impact on the environment.
Sustainability is key in all our operations. We work actively and systematically to reduce emissions and promote the green transition. Our goal is to increase the production and use of renewable energy and reduce the use of fossil fuels.
